Block I Fundamentals of visual communication design
We study the topic of creating effective messages, the basic principles and elements of graphic design, the rules of printing and visual perception. We study composition, the rules for choosing grids for projects, and learn how to use colors when designing communications. We define assumptions and create project scenarios. We reveal the secrets of building a strong personal brand.
Block II Strategic brand design-Branding
Here we will focus mainly on practice. We will learn how to create a design scenario for the developed branding strategy, develop a logo, visual identity, key and main media brands. We will create a basic book of visual brand identification and develop a design project. Each student creates their own professional portfolio.

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In Design

COURSE MODULES

Concept, application, tools of graphic design. Illustrator tools Graphic design as a corporate identity creation. Logo Subject images. Using various traditional and digital imaging methods. The basics of working with color. Color and color perspective

The basics of composition in design. Compositional principles and means.
Contrast as an element of composition. Contrast of forms, scale, weight, texture, direction of movement. Single and multiple contrast.
Dynamics and statics and rhythm in composition.
Proportions. Natural systems of proportions. The golden ratio. The use of modules in design.
Analysis of the composition of graphic design samples
Tasks on the materials of the block, work on tasks and analysis. General discussion
Color contrast, nuance and emphasis. Working with the color wheel in design
Color schemes. RGB, CMYK
Interaction of color and shape.

Basic terminology of the printing house. The system of points (points). Anatomy of letters. Words and spacing

Each participant receives a topic for their project.

Visual identity and brand communication, how it
influences the look and language of the brand. We will explore
the concept of brand identity, its audience and environment
